Chad Hurley who is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of YouTube made the announcement on the company’s blog which coincides with the 3rd anniversary of Google’s agreement to acquire YouTube.

Mr. Hurley said that he and YouTube co-founder Steve Chen joined Google with the intentions of organizing videos and make them easily and quickly accessible to its audience from wherever they were trying to access them.
